1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Bagworkers HQ community platform, operated at bagworkershq.com ("the Site", "we", "us"). The Site is an interactive community map and guild hall for the $Ansem community.

2. What information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the name, email address, and profile picture associated with that account.
• Location information. To place your marker on the community map, we ask for a general location such as your country or nearest major city. Precise coordinates are intentionally blurred on the server before they are stored or displayed.
• Profile information. You may choose to add a display name, X (Twitter) handle, country, guild, role, status, and other community identifiers. This information is shown on the public map and in community features only when you opt in.
• Land claims. If you claim a parcel on the world map, we store the claim reference and any public residency information you provide.
• Technical data. We collect standard browser and device data needed to keep the Site secure and performant, such as IP address, browser type, and crash logs.

3. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account.
• To display your marker and profile on the community map.
• To enable guild, role, and land-claim features.
• To send transactional emails such as authentication links.
• To protect the community from abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Site, such as our cloud backend and authentication infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; doing so will sign you out of the Site.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and profile data for as long as you maintain an active account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We may retain minimal records as required by law or for security purposes.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
